MRR cap behavior

"MRR limit" is the recurring revenue RecoverIQ is monitoring on your behalf, not your total Stripe volume. We count active subscriptions that flow through us.

As you approach the cap, your billing page shows a progress bar that turns red at 80% utilization. You'll see a warning banner on the dashboard at the same threshold.

If you cross the cap, RecoverIQ keeps working your existing active cases but stops opening new ones until MRR comes back under the limit or you upgrade.

There are no overage fees. We'd rather you pick the plan that fits than hit you with surprise charges.

Trial mechanics

  • Duration: 14 days from signup (not from Stripe connection). The clock starts when your RecoverIQ account is created.
  • What's included: full access to every feature of your selected plan. We don't cripple features during the trial.
  • No card required: sign up with email. You only add a card when you pick a plan at the end of the trial.
  • End of trial: you'll get an email a few days before. If you don't pick a plan by day 14, RecoverIQ stops processing new recovery cases. Your data stays intact — pick a plan anytime to resume.

Upgrade / downgrade

Plan changes happen from Dashboard → Billing.

  • Upgrade — takes effect immediately. Stripe prorates the difference against your current billing cycle.
  • Downgrade — takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your higher-tier features until then.
  • Cancel — takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refund for partial months, no cancellation fees. Your data is retained; you can reactivate anytime.

Stripe Customer Portal

Billing history, invoices, and payment method management live in Stripe's hosted Customer Portal. From Dashboard → Billing, click Manage subscription to jump there.

In the portal you can:

  • Update your card on file.
  • Download past invoices as PDFs.
  • Cancel your subscription.
  • Change your billing email.
